Latest Virus Information
We provide FREE information on the latest virus threats from Symantec, the maker of Norton Internet Security and Norton Antivirus software. Click the link above for the most recent updates.
Symantec Security/Virus Check This is an online security/virus scan for your computer which does not require you to download any software. You may see a warning that the site certificate has a problem, or that it has possibly expired. There is no problem or danger involved and you should check the "Proceed" button to go to the Symantec site and continue the virus check.
Trend Micro System Cleaner Latest Virus Pattern File This program will remove viruses from your PC. This is not a substitute for real-time virus protection. Download both of these files to your desktop. Then open sysclean.com and have it automatically clean and /or delete infected files.
AVG FREE Antivirus Software
Grisoft's AVG is a free antivirus program. It allows you to have free updates and offers great virus protection.
Windows Update
This is a CRITICAL step to insure your safety from virus attack. Many viruses today attack simply via the Internet connection itself, rather than through infected email or other attachments. Microsoft continually updates the Internet Explorer software to prevent these attacks. Always make sure you have installed the current patches available through the "critical updates" link.
